Worldly Things, a unique boutique in the heart of New York City, was founded over 30 years ago by two enterprising gentlemen, Harry van deVen and Orin Christy. From origins as diverse as Holland and Louisianna, they met at the Metropolitan opera in New York, and became partners in creating a place where women could find fashionable, classic designs. Since that time, the store has become a favorite stop for many women in Manhattan and around the world.

Our attentive staff at Worldly Things has established a rapport with our loyal clientele, where satisfaction is our top priority. In store, we offer clothing by many top European designers, including Rena Lange, Roberto Quaglia, and Richard Carriere, as well as, our famous sweater collection.

In response to the many requests from out-of-town clients, our website now offers our newly designed, as well as our classic sweater collection. These sweaters are our unique designs and are produced for us exclusively by Styltricot in Milan.
